MEANING & CONTEXT
What does Balaji mean?
Balaji is a devotional name especially associated with Venkateswara of Tirumala. Its child-like or youthful address also names Hanuman at northern shrines such as Mehandipur, giving the title more than one deity referent. Venkateswara is worshipped as a form of Vishnu.
