MEANING & CONTEXT
What does Divyanshu mean?
The Mahabharata uses Sanskrit divyāṃśu for the sun, pictured as having divine rays. Divya supplies the sense of celestial or divine, while aṃśu denotes a beam of light. The complete word therefore names the source of the rays as well as evoking their radiance.
