MEANING & CONTEXT
What does Dola mean?
Dola can continue the northern Dhola, a beloved man, remembered as the hero of the Rajasthani Dhola-Maru romance. Sanskrit dola separately denotes a swing or palanquin, and the same whole word occurs in ceremonies involving swinging divine images.
