What does Kabeer mean?
Kabīr is an Arabic adjective for greatness or large size. In India, the name also recalls Kabir, the poet-saint whose songs and couplets became part of several devotional repertoires. Hymns attributed to Kabir are also included in the Guru Granth Sahib.
