MEANING & CONTEXT
What does Madhukar mean?
The Sanskrit compound madhukara literally describes a maker of honey and conventionally denotes a bee. Its floral associations made the word familiar in Sanskrit and later Indian poetry. In devotional usage the bee image can also address Krishna as Madhukar.
