MEANING & CONTEXT
What does Purakharam mean?
Purakharam places purkha, an ancestor or forefather, before Rama. The compound joins family remembrance with the devotional name of the Ramayana hero. Rama is the prince of Ayodhya whose exile forms the central journey of the epic.
