MEANING & CONTEXT
What does Surbhi mean?
Sanskrit surabhi describes something sweet-smelling, and the adjective already occurs in Vedic texts. Surabhi is also the mythical mother of cattle. In later accounts she can be identified with the cow of plenty, giving the name both a fragrance sense and a sacred referent.
